A long-standing rivalry between two families led to violence recently, and I have since been named in the FIR despite the charge sheet containing very little material against me personally. Given this situation, I want to know: Can the Magistrate Court discharge an accused in a grievous hurt case under Section 239 CrPC / the corresponding discharge provision under BNSS?
