I have been convicted primarily on the basis of a dying declaration made by the deceased. I believe the declaration was recorded under suspicious circumstances and the deceased was not in a fit mental state. What grounds can be raised to challenge a dying declaration as the sole basis of conviction in appeal in Chennai?
