I entered into a business/property transaction with someone a couple of weeks ago, and after the deal went wrong, they filed a criminal complaint instead of pursuing a civil remedy. We have since settled the dues. Given this situation, I want to know: Can an FIR be quashed after the charge sheet has already been filed in a land / real-estate fraud case?
