There were constant disputes between me and my wife over the years, and a couple of weeks ago she lodged a complaint against my parents and me. The charge sheet has now been filed in court. Given this situation, I want to know: Can the Magistrate Court discharge an accused in a stridhan recovery case under Section 239 CrPC / the corresponding discharge provision under BNSS?
