| A criminal case filed by my spouse is pending in Ahmedabad simultaneously with our divorce proceedings. My lawyer is suggesting that the divorce matter before the Ahmedabad Family Court should be stayed until the criminal case is decided. Is this a valid argument and how do Ahmedabad courts generally handle such situations? |
